Redan donates 3 Ambulances to MOHCC
Redan donated 3 state of the art ambulances and along with them 3000 litres of fuel to the Ministry of Health and Child Care. This donation
came at a time when the Ministry,in an effort to improve the country's health delivery system, is aiming to set up a robust ambulance service that will
have a fleet of 200 fully equipped ambulances.
Below is an excerpt of the speech made by Redan CEO, Mr Tafadzwa Chigumbu at the handover ceremony of the ambulances:
Today marks a memorable day for Redan Coupon as we proudly and officially hand over the much awaited 3 brand new ambulances to the Ministry of Health and Childcare.
Our success as a company and as a nation depends mainly on a good health delivery system. And in this light Redan is gratified
in knowing that its contribution will result in the Ministry of Health being able to better serve the public at large.
It is our firm belief that the emergency service vehicles we are donating today will be beneficial to the
communities where they will be operating from, and the country at large.
On behalf Redan staff, Puma and all its partners, We like to convey our heartfelt thanks and wishes to the staff of
Ministry of Health and Childcare, Doctors and nurses for their continued dedication in serving those in need, at times under extremely difficult circumstances.
The ambulances were handed over to Vice President Retired General Dr Constantino Chiwenga who on behalf of the ministry expressed his gratitude to Redan and said that the donation was timely and spoke
to the ministry's restructuring framework.
